This eligibility period opens on the exact calendar day that the carrier’s tracking system registers the shipment as successfully delivered to your specified destination. Any return requests or communications initiated after thirty calendar days have elapsed will be categorically rejected.
Product Integrity and Return Acceptance Standards
To qualify for a refund under our return policy, the item must be returned in its original condition. It must be entirely unused, free of cosmetic scratches, structural wear, blemishes, fluid stains, chemical residue, or ambient odors, and must be completely un-assembled if it was originally delivered in multi-component forms.
Crucially, custom-fabricated salon decoration setups or personalized finishes on dining table sets cannot be returned if manufacturing was executed according to bespoke customer specifications. Items must possess their original tags, hardware kits, and internal structural stabilization packaging, and must be repacked securely inside their original factory boxing. Items returned without original packaging or missing core architectural components will be denied return processing entirely.
Customer Liability for Return Shipping Costs
For all returns initiated due to buyer’s remorse, brand reassessments, style adjustments, or spatial miscalculations (e.g., ordering dining table sets or salon items that do not align with your layout constraints), the customer or purchasing entity is solely responsible for coordinating and paying for all return freight shipping costs.
Because dining tables and professional salon configurations are classified as heavy, oversized cargo, return shipping fees can be substantial. We strongly advise utilizing an insured, trackable freight service, as orbitfm.com assumes no financial or structural liability for items that are lost, broken, or damaged during return transit from your premises to our processing facility.
Step-by-Step Return Process
To formally initiate a return, you must follow these steps:
- Email our support team at support@orbitfm.com, explicitly stating your order number, the specific item name, and your reason for requesting a return.
- Submit clear, high-resolution photographs demonstrating that the item remains undamaged, un-assembled, and is securely packed in its original factory packaging.
- Once approved by our compliance department, we will issue a formal Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with the designated return warehouse address.
- Affix the RMA number clearly to the exterior of the package and ship the item via a trackable carrier. Do not ship packages back without an active RMA, as they will be rejected at our receiving docks.
Inspection and Refund Processing Timelines
Once your return shipment arrives at our facility, it will undergo a comprehensive inspection by our quality assurance team to verify compliance with our return standards. This evaluation process takes between five to seven business days from the date of arrival.
Upon approval, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that banks and credit card companies generally require an additional seven to ten business days to settle funds and post the credit to your statements. Damaged, Defective, or Erroneous Deliveries
If your furnishings arrive with factory defects, structural damage, or represent an incorrect product delivery, you must document the issue immediately. Note any visible package damage directly on the carrier’s physical delivery receipt before signing for the shipment.
Take immediate, clear photographs of the damage and contact us at support@orbitfm.com within forty-eight hours of delivery. In verified cases of transit damage or manufacturing defects, orbitfm.com will cover all expenses to dispatch a replacement item or component, or coordinate a full refund including return shipping costs at no additional expense to the buyer.
